After PS1/MOMA New York, Berlin, Athens, Copenhagen, Thierry Geoffroy/ Colonel and the Taïss Gallery joined together to present the Emergency Room format.

Emergency Room is an international platform that since 2006 has allowed hundreds of artists to express themselves about emergencies around the world and to develop works that might have an impact on public debate. Committed artists will participate in the forty-day protest by bringing their reactions and responses in the form of works of art every day at 12:30 sharp. Journalists, as well as critics, writers, students of art history and the public at large are invited to follow daily the points raised and to participate in open debates inspired by the works and messages of the participating artists. In this way an exceptional civic dynamic is created day after day.
